Housing Policies
Policies at Eastern reflect the goals and commitments of the University. The rules are minimal but are taken seriously. Enrolled students are expected to know and abide by all policies of the University. Some of these policies are listed below.
- All full-time, undergraduate, Arts & Sciences students who entered AFTER Spring 2006 are required to maintain residency as long as space is available.
Exceptions are as follows:
- You will be 23 years of age or older at the start of the Fall semester.
- You have served active duty in the Military or are in the Military Reserves.
- You will be living at home with your family (parental signature required). - Eastern's campus and University-sponsored student events are alcohol and drug free.
- Residence Hall visitation by opposite sex friends is limited to a specific schedule:
Monday and Tuesday 4:30 pm - 10:30 pm Wednesday NO VISITATION Thursday 4:30 pm - 10:30 pm Friday and Saturday 1:00 pm - 1:00 am Sunday 1:00 pm - 10:30 pm - The entire campus is smoke-free both inside and outside the buildings.
