Sydney Tilley is the Assistant Director of Alumni & Family Engagement at Eastern
University, in St. Davids, PA. Sydney spent three years working with the dedicated Alumni and Advancement office of Trinity International University (Deerfield, IL) where she held positions of increased responsibility while earning her Bachelor of Arts in Communication with dual emphases in Business Communication and Relational Communication along with a minor in Practical Leadership. Before coming to Eastern, Sydney was the Assistant Director of Student Engagement at Earlham College in Richmond, IN.

Sydney began her foray into creative event planning in high school and college and has since produced intimate gatherings, large scale events, conferences and concerts, and weddings. Sydney has always valued and promoted the connections that alumni share and actively seeks to create events as experiences for them to share their stories and rekindle friendships. In every situation she finds herself in, Sydney seeks to develop young leaders and equip them to navigate the complexities of life with wisdom, courage, and vulnerability.

Outside the office, Sydney is a collector of vibrant experiences. Her passions include advocating for women’s mental health within the church, intermediate paddle-boarding, and Taco Tuesdays. Sydney is excited to begin her journey toward a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling with a focus in Trauma at Eastern University, St. Davids.
