Why Minor in Sociology at Eastern?
Eastern University's minor in Sociology comprises courses in introduction to sociology, contemporary social problems, and socialization and group relations, along with three other sociology courses. These courses complement any major.
“The sociology program at Eastern has been an incredible asset in my job as a pastor, helping me translate the theology of my tradition into concrete messages. I hope my preaching helps the congregation do something Dr. Monteiro is always aiming at: seeing with eyes not just for an individual person or event, but with an imagination that captures all of the social and theological layers of reality in front of us.”
