Dr. Socci is a high energy instructor who loves the classroom and interacting with his students. They regularly comment on the passion he possess for the subject matter and enjoy his laid back humorous teaching style. His extensive experience in entrepreneurial organizations was instrumental in bringing the entrepreneurial studies program to fulfillment. 

Socci has served as the faculty advisor for the student organization, ENACTUS. During the past 4 years Eastern has won 4 regional championships advancing to the national competition. EU Enactus has been very active on the Eastern Campus and abroad. In the last 10 years over $100,000 has been raised to help middle school students in West Philadelphia attend college and many other causes throughout the world.

His experience was in the small business sector where he specialized in general management within the wholesale distribution sector. Dr. Socci has been involved in a number of entrepreneurial start-ups and managed the operations for numerous successful entrepreneurs.

Before coming to Eastern University in 2004, Dr. Socci spent ten years at Eastern Nazarene College serving as Department Chair in Business for eight years and Dean of Adult and Continuing Education for three years. In 1998 he received a teaching excellence award and served on many campus wide strategic task groups.
