Qinying Chen is the Coordinator of Institutional Support at Eastern University in St. Davids, PA. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Nanjing University in China before moving to the United States to further her education. Her academic journey brought her to Ohio University, where she studied Communication and Development, and later to Temple University, where she completed a doctorate in Media and Communication, focusing on public policy communication strategies.

Qinying’s journey has been as diverse as it is inspiring. She has taught undergraduate courses at Temple University, worked in marketing roles in New York, and now dedicates herself to supporting students at Eastern University. She firmly believes in the transformative power of higher education and is passionate about finding resources and scholarships to help students achieve their goals.

Outside of work, Qinying enjoys collecting stones, crafting small art projects, and spending time with her husband, who works in healthcare advertising in New York. She is thrilled to be part of the Eastern University community and looks forward to making a meaningful impact on students’ lives.
