First Step: IRB Inquiry Form

Please complete the IRB Inquiry Form.  This form should be completed when a researcher, faculty/staff member, student, or community member:

  • Is unsure whether their activities/study require IRB review and confirmation is needed
  • Thinks that their study does not require IRB review, but confirmation is needed
  • Knows that their study requires IRB review, and they would like to notify the IRB of their intent to apply for IRB approval
  • Has a different question for the IRB Committee related to a study, activity, or procedure

After submitting the Inquiry Form, you can expect a response from the EU IRB at irb@eastern.edu regarding your request.
