The Abelian Group is a walk-in tutoring service provided by the School of Mathematics and Computational Sciences free of charge for students. Any Eastern University student may drop in during tutoring hours at which time an upperclassman mathematics major will be available to assist with problems from any mathematics course at or below MATH 350 (Advanced Calculus). This includes Calculus I, II, III, Linear Algebra, Statistics, Pre-calculus and Mathematical Ideas. The time can also be used for group problem sessions for students in upper division courses such as Topology, Real Analysis and Abstract Algebra.
