Admissions Requirements

  • Application: Completed and signed at eastern.edu/apply
  • Identity Verification: Once you have submitted your application, you will receive a separate email with a secure link to complete identity verification through the PLAID platform. This step confirms your identity as part of the application process and must be finished before your application can be reviewed.  
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field, preferably but not necessarily from an accredited university whose accreditor has been endorsed by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
    • Applicants with unaccredited Bachelor's Degrees can be considered for admission on a case by case basis
    • Transcripted studies should reflect adequate preparation for study in the relevant graduate program.
  • Official Transcript(s) from the degree-conferring undergraduate (and graduate if applicable) institution you attended.
  • Current Resume
  • GPA Requirements:
    • Minimum GPA of 2.75 preferred, with particular importance placed on the last two years of the undergraduate record.  
    • Applicants with a GPA below 2.75 will be considered on a case by case basis.  
    • Those below 2.75 must submit a GPA letter that explains why the GPA was lower, evidence of likely GPA improvement.  
    • A graduate GPA over 2.75 can also satisfy the minimum GPA requirement.
