Dialogue and Discussion: Pete Enns & Phil Cary
| 07:00 PM - 08:30 PM
The Scandal of the Evangelical Mind: A Candid Conversation That Matters with Pete Enns and Phil Cary
Thirty years ago in his seminal book, The Scandal of the Evangelical Mind, Evangelical scholar and then Wheaton College historian, Mark Noll remorsefully declared,
“The scandal of the evangelical mind is that there is not much of an evangelical mind.”
We live, learn, work, teach, socialize, and worship in a community committed to Faith, Reason, and Justice. But what is Faith? Reason? Justice? How do these values relate to, challenge, or conflict with each other?
Pete and Phil will dialogue from 7:00-7:30 in the Walton Hall Baird Library and then invite questions and conversation from 7:30-8:30. We hope you will join us!
This event is open to the public. All are welcome. It will also be offered remotely via Zoom.
