Cryptocurrencies day-trader. Oppression-fighter. World-changer.

How does the prop you brought represent you?

The iPad I’m using represents me in two ways:

  1. I am day-trading these cryptocurrencies to make a living
  2. The underlying technology for cryptocurrencies (blockchain) can change the world for the better, in the 21st century

How would you describe courage in one sentence?

In quoting Maggie Kuhn, courage is: “Speak[ing] your mind, even if your voice shakes.”

How did getting your degree require courage?

My wife (Tiera) and I left our home (Evansville, IN) of 20-plus years to move 12 hours away to the Philadelphia area. It took courage to listen to God’s voice.

How does your current job or career path require courage?

Whether we want to believe it or not, the United States and other systems around the world use oppression in order to lift up a handful of people at the expense of others. My career path requires courage to push up against systematic oppression so people can live their lives with dignity, rather than in hurt and fear.

How did EU help you become more courageous in your thinking and actions?

Being around and listening to like-minded individuals helped nurture a courageous spirit to do the necessary work in bringing holistic change to the world around us.

Where do you hope courage will lead you in the future?

I hope that courage leads me to seeing oppressive systems fall and a new morale of integrity rise during my lifetime. (I think this will be through checks and balances in our government and blockchain technology integrating into every aspect of our lives.)
