Christyn Dodla came to Eastern University with over two decades of social work experience. Christyn started her career in child welfare working in foster care and adoption. She then shifted her focus to international adoption and became a supervisor. In 2009, Christyn began working for the Chester County Intermediate Unit at the Child and Career Development Center as a school social worker. Christyn is an LSW and has an Education Specialist Certificate through the PA Department of Education. During her time as a school social worker, Christyn served on several inter-disciplinary teams that promoted trauma informed care as well as student mental health and well-being. She was a participant in the Chester County Mental Health Consortium that sought to increase mental health supports to students throughout the county.
