My name is Jon Hartrey and I graduated from the MBA program in May 2023. I grew up in the suburbs of New York City. After graduating from Catholic University in Washington DC I worked in a series of buying, sourcing and omni-channel merchandise planning roles at Target and Macy’s. In 2017 I pivoted my career and joined the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) as the Program Support Specialist in the West Bank and Gaza Mission. My focus was counter terrorism partner vetting and successful movement of people and materials throughout Israel, the West Bank and Gaza. In 2020 I moved to Washington DC assuming the role of team lead managing counter terrorism vetting and risk management for the Middle East and north Africa. I live in Washington DC with my spouse and son.
