Kim McManiman has been a pediatric nurse for 36 years with the majority of that time (34 years) spent at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.  She has worked in Pediatric ICU, Neonatal ICU, and Operating Rooms at both CHOP main OR and CHOP Exton/CHOP Brandywine Valley Surgery Centers.

Kim has enjoyed the educational component of nursing for many years, preparing and leading skills fairs, CPR instruction as a CPR instructor for over 30 years, fire safety education, and as a lead in plastic surgery, craniofacial surgery, and orthopedic surgery. Joining Eastern University as Coordinator of the Nursing Resource and Simulation Lab allows her to utilize many of these skills. 

She earned her BSN at Thomas Jefferson University and her MS in Health Services Management at Eastern University.

Kim and her husband have two grown sons.  She loves to bake, loves Lancaster County, and spending time with her two dogs.  She is involved with her church and enjoys the many aspects of church life.
