As Dean of Students, Dr. Sarah Williamson is dedicated to creating safe, supportive, and welcoming residential communities where students feel genuinely cared for and empowered to thrive. In her oversight of Residence Life, Student Rights & Responsibilities, and her role as a Deputy Title IX Coordinator, she works every day to nurture student well-being, foster personal growth, and champion an inclusive campus environment.
Prior to joining Eastern, Dr. Williamson served as the Dean of Students and Title IX Co-Coordinator at Neumann University, as well as an adjunct instructor in the Educational Leadership department at West Chester University. With nearly 20 years of experience spanning Student Conduct, Wellness Promotion, and Student Support, she has built a career grounded in collaborative, student-centered leadership and a deep commitment to student belonging.
Dr. Williamson earned her Ed.D. in Policy, Planning, & Administration with a concentration in Higher Education from West Chester University, a Master’s in Counseling with Secondary School Certification from Kutztown University, and a B.S. in Human Services, Education, & Public Policy from the University of Delaware.
Outside of work, Dr. Williamson lives in Chester County with her husband, Andy, their two children, Micayla and Mason, and their two miniature labradoodles, Freddie and Leo. She loves traveling, exploring new places, and spending quality time with her family.
