Robin Weinstein
Dr. Robin Weinstein holds the position of Professor of Human Resources and Dean of the College of Business at Wilmington University. His past roles include serving as Chair of the Human Resource Management Program and as the elected Chair of the Faculty Senate, showcasing his dedication to both educational quality and governance. In addition to his primary roles at Wilmington University, Dr. Weinstein enriches the academic community as an adjunct faculty member at the Rowan College of Southern New Jersey, further extending his impact on higher education in the region. Dr. Weinstein also serves as a member of the editorial board for the Journal of Business and Hotel Management and the Journal of Business & Financial Affairs.
Dr. Weinstein is a graduate of Eastern University with a Bachelor of Arts in Justice, Law & Society. During his time at Eastern University he held a number of leadership roles, including Student Government President in which he spearheaded a campaign to make the university more environmentally friendly by convincing the students and administration to purchase renewable energy.
Dr. Weinstein earned a Masters of Theological Studies in Faith and Public Policy from the Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary (now Palmer Theological Seminary). As the first Wilberforce Public Policy Research Scholar at the Sider Center, Dr. Weinstein acted as a principal researcher to revise widely read social justice publications such as Rich Christians in an Age of Hunger and Just Generosity: A New Vision for Overcoming Poverty in America.
Dr. Weinstein earned his Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership (Ed.D.) from Wilmington University. He holds professional certifications from the Society for Human Resource Management and the Human Resource Certification Institute, along with professional certificates from the Cornell University School for Industrial and Labor Relations.
Dr. Weinstein served as the founder and dynamic leader of the M25 Initiative, a nonprofit organization that, from 2014 to 2023, focused on uniting and empowering individuals and organizations in Cumberland County, NJ. The M25 Initiative sought to foster innovative, collaborative strategies to alleviate suffering, combat hunger, eliminate poverty, reduce crime, and revitalize community spirit, ultimately leading to life-transforming outcomes.
Named by The Press of Atlantic City in 2016 as one of the ten “MOVERS AND SHAKERS OF SOUTH JERSEY” and one of the “17 TO WATCH IN 2017,” Dr. Weinstein is recognized as a true believer in human potential and gifted at harnessing that latent power through all of his personal and career endeavors.
