Prior to joining Eastern University, Amy Berrios practiced law for both the state and federal government in Philadelphia for many years. In 2005, Ms. Berrios opened a limited private practice and became the Program Director for the Paralegal Studies Department at a small private career college. A few years later, she was promoted to Director of Education for the entire college. In 2013, the school was purchased by Kaplan University, and Ms. Berrios accepted a position as the Academic Dean. In 2019, Ms. Berrios moved on to a position as the Coordinator of Reporting and Assessment for Rosemont College and remained there until joining Eastern University in May 2021. Ms. Berrios has received numerous awards related to her academic and legal expertise, including the Excellence in Service Award, a distinguished honor awarded to civilians in public service by the federal government, and the Hall of Fame Award from both the Pennsylvania Association of Private School Administrators and the Career College Association.
