Mezzo soprano Kelly Gebhardt has enjoyed national success on opera, musical theatre and concert stages these past 25 years, performing such roles as Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia, Stephano in Romeo et Juliette, Suzuki in Madama Butterfly, and Elizabeth Proctor in The Crucible. Ms. Gebhardt has made appearances with San Diego Opera, Utah Opera, Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theatre and Natchez Opera, as well as the Sundance Festival, and has performed in professional ensembles of Annie Get Your Gun, Kismet, Fiddler on the Roof and Carousel among others. Honors include winner of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra Young Artist Competition, winner of the Operafest! Of New Hampshire Arlene Williams Award, two-time finalist in the Annamaria Saritelli-DiPanni Bel Canto Scholarship Competition, two-time recipient of the Opera in the Ozarks Award for Outstanding Colleague, recipient of the SUNY Stony Brook Neumiller Scholarship and recipient of the Temple University Esther Boyer Griswold Voice Scholarship. Ms. Gebhardt holds a D.M.A. in Voice Performance from SUNY Stony Brook, and earned both her B.M. and M.M. in Voice Performance from Temple University in Philadelphia.

In addition to teaching Intro to Musical Theatre at EU, Kelly teaches Applied Voice, Singer’s Diction and Music for Exceptional Learner’s at Immaculata University. She is the Director of the Addisville Reformed Church Adult Choir in Richboro, PA, and the Director of Performance Arts at Stratford Friends School in Newtown Square, PA. Kelly resides in Conshohocken with her two children.
