Dr. Henessey-Booth is Assistant Professor of Speech Communication at Eastern University, teaching both general education courses and courses for majors. Her scholarship is centered around rhetoric  and the course syllabus. She is particularly interested in the intersection between Universal Design for Learning and accessibility within the classroom. 

Dr. Hennessey-Booth came to Eastern University after more than 15 years teaching at various universities and community colleges across the country. At the University of Arkansas at Monticello, she was the assistant director of the Debate and Forensics team.
