Eastern's pre-pharmacy major in Biochemical Studies includes all the courses necessary to prepare for a graduate degree in pharmacy at the vast majority of pharmacy schools throughout the country. Eastern students can benefit from our partnership with Temple University that guarantees qualified students entrance into the Temple University School of Pharmacy (TUSP) for their distinguished Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program.

The Pre-Optometry track prepares students who hope to become optometrists -- the primary health care professionals who diagnose and treat disorders of the eye and vision.  Doctors of Optometry also assist with providing glasses and contact lenses to their patients. 

The purpose of the Leadership Development Minor is to produce graduates with the capacity to understand and lead strategic change and renewal in organizations. The curriculum challenges students to apply critical thinking and collaborative skills in identifying the costs and consequences of planned change.
