It all starts with an idea. Almost six years ago, former President of Student Government Xeyah Martin and former VP of Student Development of Student Development started a food insecurity pantry in three locations: Gough, Walton, Doane. Now the program, Eagle’s Essentials, has expanded to 6 locations in various residence halls around campus; the new locations are Kea-Guffin, Eagle & Sparrowk.

Eagle's Essentials provides students with food and personal hygiene items needed for a successful education experience. This successful partnership between the Student Government Association and the Student Development office is looking to expand their program, providing items that recognize our students' dietary and cultural needs.
