Brooke Wheeler

Adjunct Professor, Doctoral Programs in Marriage and Family Therapy


Dr. Wheeler has extensive experience working with individuals, couples, and families in outpatient, inpatient, and mobile settings. Dr. Wheeler has an array of clinical experience, including hospice and grief and loss support, substance use disorders, family and couples therapy, and mobile therapy for children and adolescents. Much of her work has included the numerous layers of grief and loss, as well as relational dynamics and conflict within couples and family systems. Dr. Wheeler is particularly passionate about working with adoptive family systems and remains adoption-competent in this regard. Dr. Wheeler currently works in both community mental health and private practice. In addition to teaching at Eastern, Dr. Wheeler has previously served as an adjunct professor of psychology at Manor College in Jenkintown, where she taught introductory psychology, developmental psychology, and the psychology of aging.
