Christine Doty

Adjunct Professor, Doctoral Programs in Marriage and Family Therapy


Dr. Doty is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice in north central PA. She also supervises clinicians with a variety of backgrounds and professional goals to assist them in the licensure process. Dr. Doty draws from attachment theory, Bowen Family Systems Theory, and Feminist Theory in her work with clients and in supervision.

Research Interests

Dr. Doty completed her dissertation on the development of compassion fatigue among peer support workers.
