Eastern University Celebrates its Centennial Graduating Class at 2026 Commencement Ceremonies

St. Davids, PA: Eastern University celebrated the achievements of the Class of 2026 during its annual commencement ceremonies held at the Mann Center on Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9.

Throughout the ceremonies, University leaders reflected on Eastern’s mission of preparing graduates to impact the world through faith, reason, and justice, encouraging students to carry those values into their careers, communities, and callings.

Commencement speaker Steve Clemens ’91 reflected on the significance of the Class of 2026 as Eastern’s Centennial graduates, recognizing 100 years since the University first opened its doors as Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

“One hundred years ago, Eastern opened its doors to an education shaped by faith, character, and purpose that would change the world. The next 100 years of Eastern begin with you.”

Members of the Class of 2026 were recognized not only for their academic accomplishments but also for their service, leadership, research, internships, ministry involvement, creative work, and commitment to making a meaningful impact both on campus and beyond.

The ceremonies concluded with graduates officially joining Eastern’s vibrant alumni community as they begin the next chapter of their personal and professional journeys.

Eastern University congratulates the Class of 2026 and celebrates the ways its graduates will continue to listen, love, learn, and lead in communities around the world.
