Eastern MBA Student Performance on National Peregrine Exam Displays Program’s Academic Excellence

St. Davids, PA: Eastern University is proud to announce that its MBA in Organizational Management students displayed excellent performance on the distinguished Peregrine Exam, placing in the 86th percentile among students in programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).* The Peregrine Exam is a nationally-recognized assessment used to benchmark the learning outcomes of business programs across the country.

Peregrine provides comprehensive data allowing business schools to compare their MBA students’ exam performance to national and international standards. This is the second consecutive year that Eastern MBA students have received excellent scores on the exam. The results place Eastern students in high standing among accomplished and accredited business schools across the nation, solidifying the MBA program’s reputation for quality and excellence.

“It is gratifying to note how our students are advancing in their knowledge and preparation for becoming change agents in the world of business. The Peregrine results demonstrate how our approach to providing an accessible MBA program empowers students to excel at the highest levels, regardless of their background.”

Dr. Christa Lee-Chuvala, Eastern’s Dean for the College of Business and Leadership

When incoming students were at the start of the program, Eastern’s MBA students scored in the mid-range of business school graduate candidates. However, after program completion, their average results increased to the 86th percentile* of all students within the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) who participated. Eastern students scored above average in each business discipline category, including accounting, business analytics, economics, leadership, marketing, and operations.

“These results showcase the quality learning experience embedded in our highly flexible, asynchronous online learning environment. Having one of the lowest tuition rates in the nation combined with high-quality outcomes is a compelling return on investment for those seeking to reach the next level in their business careers.”

“The MBA program is challenging but gives you all the resources you need to be successful. I own a business and have a family; so, the flexibility of the program was one of the main reasons why I chose this program. I was immediately able to apply concepts from classes to real-life situations, specifically from the Innovation and Design and the Strategic Marketing Management courses. This is not a degree that you have to wait until after graduation to apply the concepts. Whatever you learn, you can apply in real-time the moment you learn it.”

William Burton - MBA '24; Business Owner / Entrepreneur

“The self-paced aspect is a lifesaver – the convenience of the program doesn't compromise the quality of education I'm receiving. As a single mother of three working full-time, it's the only way I would have been able to continue my education. I already have a much clearer understanding of the organization I work for as a whole. The insights into how the business operates in all areas have provided a "bigger picture" that I'm able to use in my current role and beyond.”

Robin Mercado - MBA '24; Sales Development Rep
