Have an undergraduate business degree?
Students who have undergraduate degrees with business accreditation may be eligible for advanced standing in Eastern's MBA in Organizational Management. Advanced standing students are not required to take four of the ten MBA core courses. In order to reach a total of 30 credits for graduation, advanced standing students will take four elective courses.
Advanced Standing Status Allows You to:
- Easily add a four course optional concentration in Business Analytics or Healthcare Administration to count toward the 30 credits required for graduation
- Or, focus your MBA studies on your personal interests and career goals by taking a mix of elective courses options.
Advanced Standing Eligibility
In order to be eligible for advanced standing, you must have:
- An undergraduate business degree accredited by ACBSP, AACSB, or IACBE.
- A Minimum Undergraduate GPA of 3.0. Applicants with an undergraduate GPA below 3.0 will be considered on a case by case basis and must submit a GPA letter.
- All students who apply for the MBA will be evaluated for the advanced standing track. If you qualify for the advanced standing track, you will be notified upon acceptance into the program.
